As a lawyer my biggest goal is to inform, educate, and empower clients by showing them how the law can be used as an adequate tool to build and protect their family's generational wealth.

I am a bilingual Mexican American CA licensed attorney. 

I help families create estate plans to protect their generational wealth by avoiding high court fees and additional taxes at time of death.

Through networking relationships, social media content, free Know Your Rights classes, and Attorney-Client work I make sure BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ folks are not paying more in taxes and court fees than they need to.

Torres Legal Counseling, Inc. is more than my life’s work as an entrepreneur and lawyer. It is an extension of the hard and honest work my parents engrained in me. 

Educating and empowering clients to make hard, but life altering decisions about their dinero brings purpose to my work. 

Strategic legal planning provides access to tools traditionally only known to and used by the ultra-wealthy.  

Lack of financial literacy within our communities deprives our children from freedom and opportunities that dinero provides. 

No financial literacy = no generational wealth building  and protecting through estate plans.

An effective estate plan can help you keep more of your wealth within your family and keep your family out of court and out of conflict.  

I know many of our families have conquered American accolades like buying a house, cars, and owning businesses. 

All of which should be legally owned in the name of a Living Trust to avoid unnecessary legal costs and taxes at time of inheritance. 

It is up to us to continue to seize the financial and educational opportunities our families sacrificed so much for.

In 2019, I was named a California ChangeLawyers℠ Scholar,

was recognized  by the Mexican-American Bar Association through stipend, 

and worked for the Honorable Gary Moorhead a family law judge for the Superior Court of Orange County.

 In 2018, I represented immigrants facing deportation through UCI Law’s Immigrant Rights Clinic gaining an array of immigration and community organizing experience. 

In 2017, I worked for ICE Headquarters in Washington, D.C. where I had a front row seat to how things are run by the largest U.S. police enforcement agency. 

 Now, I love running my own law firm and the freedom it provides to offer legal counseling that aligns with my core values.
